Getting to know each other day for eight new trainees

On 13th of August, 2021 we welcomed eight new faces at WALZEN IRLE. In the future, the trainees will be reinforced by an industrial clerk, an industrial mechanic, two cutting machine operators and three foundry mechanics. In addition, a cutting machine operator joined us in the fourth year of his apprenticeship and will complete his training next year. In total, WALZEN IRLE is now training 22 apprentices, which is the highest number in years.

After a welcome by the management, trainers, plant manager and works council, the newcomers were given a tour of the plant to get an orientation and meet some colleagues. Most of them had already gained an insight through an internship and subsequently applied for a training position.

At the end of the get-to-know-you day, the trainees from all apprenticeship years came together for a barbecue. In a relaxed atmosphere, the newcomers were welcomed into the "WALZEN-IRLE family". This made the first working day on August 16, 2021 much easier.

We wish everyone a good start to their working lives and an exciting, instructive and successful time at WALZEN IRLE.
